The Period of Avar Rule | II. FROM DACIA TO ERDŐELVE: TRANSYLVANIA IN THE PERIOD OF THE GREAT MIGRATIONS (271-896) | Transylvania in the Period of the Hungarian Conquest and foundation of a State |
Much of the information on early Slav settlements in southeastern Transylvania comes from Zoltán SZÉKELY's excavations and publications: 'Contribuţii la cultura slavă în sec. VII-VIII, în sud-estul Transilvaniei' (SCIV 13: 1962), 'Die frühesten slawischen Siedlungen in Siebenbürgen' (Slavia Antiqua 17: 1970). He reported on Fiatfalva in Aluta 6-7: 1974-75.
An essential study of Bulgarian culture in Transylvania is that of Ž. N. VAŽAROVA, Slavjani i prabâlgari - Slaven und Protobulgaren (Sofia, 1976), which was published in both Bulgarian and German.
